7-Day Matcha Smoothie Challenge (With Recipes)

Jump into the 7-day matcha smoothie challenge, and feel great by loading up on foods that will help your mind and body repair.

Why do the challenge?

Matcha smoothies are a quick and easy way for you to get a ton of macronutrients and micronutrients that make it easy for your body to digest and absorb.

These smoothies are an effective and straightforward way to increase your fruit and vegetable intake - something that most people in the UK could use help with. By providing your body with the essential vitamins, minerals, phytochemical and fibre it will help to reset processes. 

The matcha smoothie challenge will help your gut, liver and adrenal glands get rid of all those nasties -- which will most likely also help you shed a few pounds!

You'll feel great, your skin will start to glow and you'll have more energy than ever before (without consuming endless amounts of caffeine!).

There's just a few rules:

  • Do not consume any coffee for 7 days
  • You must have at least one of the below smoothies once a day for 7 days

#1 MONDAY: BANANNA COCONUT SMOOTHIE

It's Monday, so we're going to start the week off with a tasty and tropical smoothie. Drink it first thing in the morning. If you have left overs, you may drink in the afternoon as well.

  • 1/2 tsp of Organic Matcha Fuel
  • 3/4 cup of coconut milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1 handful of fresh or frozen mango chunks
  • Handful of ice

Instructions: Blend all of the ingredients in a blender until smooth.

#2 TUESDAY: ORANGE POWER SMOOTHIE

Orange will provide you with 130% of your daily vitamin C. Not only that, but research shows that vitamin C can increase the absorption of powerful antioxidants in matcha by up to 5X!

  • 1/2 tsp of Organic Matcha Fuel
  • 1 whole orange
  • 1/2 tsp of orange zest
  • A few shavings of fresh ginger
  • 1 banana
  • 1/3 cup of coconut milk
  • Handful of ice

Instructions: Blend all of the ingredients in a blender until smooth.

#3 WEDNESDAY: BERRY BLAST SMOOTHIE

It's midway through the week, and you should already start to feel a change! Give your mind and body that extra push with this antioxidant rich smoothie.

  • 1/2 tsp of Organic Matcha Fuel
  • 1 handful of frozen blueberries
  • 1 handful of baby spinach
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tablespoon of oats
  • 3/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk
  • Handful of ice

Instructions: Blend all of the ingredients in a blender until smooth.

#4 THURSDAY: MANGO DELIGHT SMOOTHIE

Enjoy Thursday with healthy bacteria for the gut, and turmeric for inflammation.

  • 1/2 tsp of Organic Matcha Fuel
  • 1/2 cup of mangos
  • 1 handful of strawberries
  • 1/2 cup plain greek yoghurt
  • 1/2 tsp of turmeric
  • 3/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk/vanilla almond milk
  • Handful of ice

Instructions: Blend all of the ingredients in a blender until smooth.

#5 FRIDAY: LEMON FLUSH SMOOTHIE

It's Friday, so we want you to flush all of the bad stuff out. This smoothie is pleasantly refreshing, and it will definitely wake you up for the day ahead.

  • 1/2 tsp of Organic Matcha Fuel
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 squeezed lemon or 2 tbsp of lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp of ground turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp of grated fresh ginger
  • 1/8 tsp of cinnamon
  • Pinch of pepper
  • Handful of ice

Instructions: Blend all of the ingredients in a blender until smooth.

#6 SATURDAY: GLOW SMOOTHIE

You have made it this far so well done, just one more day to go. Get a powerful punch of micronutrients from kale and spinach. It looks very green but don't worry, the apple and banana will have you covered.

  • 1/2 tsp of Organic Matcha Fuel
  • 1 handful of kale
  • 1 handful of baby spinach
  • 1/2 cup of pure apple juice
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1/2 lemon squeezed
  • 4 mint leaves
  • 1 banana 
  • Handful of ice

Instructions: Blend all of the ingredients in a blender until smooth.

#7 SUNDAY: RAW SMOOTHIE

Congratulations, you made it! This last smoothie will have you feeling refreshed, and your gut working like a well-oiled machine. Beets are high in immune-boosting vitamin C, potassium and manganese. 

  • 1/2 tsp of Organic Matcha Fuel
  • 1 tsp of maca
  • 2 cups of red cabbage
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 red beet
  • 1 apple
  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • Handful of ice

Instructions: Blend all of the ingredients in a blender until smooth.


You're going to need Matcha Fuel to make the smoothies.

    I’m going to do the challenge. So do I cut out tea and coffee? Is fruit tea allowed?
    Just wondering what else is advised to drink
